"Hooray for you for finding this gem video in a sea of commercialism. My kids and I are a big fan of many of the famous groups, but this little video is definitely the bomb-diggity! I'm so glad that I decided to try this video because it turned out to be exactly what I hoped it would be and even better, my kids LOVE it!!! It's simple and very engaging. My kids love watching it again and again. They participate in the song and dance activities as if they are part of the group of kids in the video. The alphabet, color, numbers, and shapes are all covered in a totally engaging format. This video will get your kids singing and dancing, and more importantly, LISTENING to the instructions of what to do when as they follow the lead of the little kids on the video. For instance, (kids are wearing different colored shirts) "Yellow stand up and walk around red, blue stand up and hop on one foot..." So not only does your child learn colors (numbers, shapes, or the alphabet), they learn to listen to directions, and then are given the opportunity to apply their knowledge to participate in coordinated activites."
A disappointment!

"I ordered this video for my daughter, age 2, after she showed an interest in the alphabet and numbers. The fact that this was a Parent's Choice led me to believe that it would be the perfect educational video. Was I wrong! The 2 songs that deal with the ABC's go by so fast that my daughter couldn't keep up. Don't even expect that this video will help you child learn numbers. The first counting song only repeated "1-2-3" over and over and the second just showed a little girl randomly counting to 5, 6, 7, and 8. The songs didn't even keep my daughters interest. All the video contains are songs that are boring to a 2 year old and seem like they would be trivial to a 5 year old."
Our baby loves it.

"I got this ages ago for our older son when he was a toddler, but I don't remember him ever getting that into it. I tried showing it to our one year old recently and he absolutely loves it. I think he'd watch it all day if I let him. The video has kind of a dated look about it. It shows different kids acting out songs about the alphabet or about trying to get to sleep, etc. The music is obviously all written by the same guy and the songs all have a similiar sound. My husband jokes that the music sounds like the theme song from "Three's Company", which it kind of does. In any case, our little guy loves it and I don't mind him watching it, because it is strangely soothing. No saccharin (think Barney) type kids, nothing harsh or overly commercial. It's just a nice little kids video"
Baby Songs is my daughter's favorite!

"My two year old is absolutely obsessed with Baby Songs. If I would allow it, I think she would watch it all day long. She loves the music, has learned her alphabet and colors from the songs, and dances all over the room when it's on. Best part... mom gets a moment of peace when necessary, and I don't feel guilty because she is watching something very educational. Highly recommended! Hap Palmer is a genius."
Catchy, interactive, and fun

"My just-turned-two year old daughter and I love this video. We also own three other Baby Songs Videos--the original, "Baby Animals," and "Baby's Busy Day"--and we enjoy this one more than any except possibly "Baby's Busy Day." When "Tap Your Sticks" plays, my daughter runs around to find her plastic spoons and do what the kids do--e.g., tap them on the floor, in the air, etc. She always wants to hear "Tap Your Sticks" more than once. I especially like this song plus the jazzy "Betty Beep" (my favorite Hap Palmer song), "Jig Along Shapes," and "We're On Our Way." The tunes are catchy, the lyrics are creative, and the kids are natural. All in all, "Baby Songs ABC, 123, Colors and Shapes" is a great buy."
