"As I write this, there is but one other review of this product, from a reviewer named "Sam" in Baton Rouge, who appears to have been stunned that this box set contained three DVD concerts already available as single releases. He also seems to be under the impression that they are CDs, and not DVDs, when they are clearly the latter. Many people seem to find his "review" useful, but all readers from here on out should take his comments with a large grain of salt.
Because he's only half right. These HAVE been released before. The record company, as ALL SUCH COMPANIES DO, has simply bundled three of the best ones together in a slipsleeve at a reduced price in the hopes of attracting a larger audiences for Rieu's entirely unique brand of concert experience.
The programs should have been visible to "Sam" when he purchased the set, as you can see the spines quite clearly by looking at the side of the box. This, of course, strongly suggests that "Sam" didn't buy this set at all, but felt compelled to jump on Amazon and afford the three discs an aggregate total of one star, as if the very re-releasing of previously available material was a crime in itself, even though movie and music companies have been doing it for decades now.
Anyways, the three concerts in this delightful box set are visible on the sleeve art pictured with on the main product page, if you take the time to view it enlarged, something "Sam" clearly feels people are too stupid to do.
They are:
Andre Rieu Live in Dublin
Andre Rieu Live in New York
Andre Riey Live in Vienna
These are three impeccable performances, and an excellent cross-section of musical styles and pieces. There are the usual numbers that overlap, mostly waltzes for which Rieu is justifiably famous.
To get a better feel for the content and critical reception of any of these three shows, just check their individual Amazon listings, where you'll find countless 5-star reviews, all deserved.
And ignore "Sam". His review of this product throws suspicion on every single other review he's contributed to Amazon now, and he cannot be trusted.
Enjoy!"
Great!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I love listening to and seeing Andre Rieu, and his orchestra. They are delightful. The music is fantastic."
