Six part 2014 Australian series which tells the rarely told true stories of the nurses serving with the Australian Army Nursing Service at Alexandria, Lemnos, and the Western Front during the First World War. Very accurate and absolutely outstanding production. Not for the faint of heart. This is war with real blood, guts, fear, chaos, heartbreak, and insanity.
