The program takes you through the various parts of the body from the neck to the feet. The head is handled in a different DVD from the same company. Anatomy for Artists - The Human Head
What makes it really easy to follow is that it's broken down into logical sections--neck, shoulder, upper arm and elbow, midsection, pelvis, etc. Then each section is further divided up by bones, muscles, surface forms and landmarks. It goes further by explaining general rules of proportion, male vs. female differences and body mechanics. They use many classical drawings from the masters as well as a real person to demonstrate the theories. This DVD has given me new perspective on anatomy. It runs about an hour and it's jammed packed with tons of easy to follow material. I learned alot from it and I highly recommend it!" |
