DVD Quality Not There

"The presentation of the different National Parks is well done and a good introduction. Except for Yellowstone, Grand Canyon, and Yosemite, only a brief 2-4 minute on average presentation of each park is given. Their are 52 other parks, so this is expected. My disappointment was that the picture quality was more of the VHS format than DVD. I watched a DVD afterwards about Ansel Adams with Yosemite scenery and the picture quality was evident."
Not much here

"I bought this with the highest expectations. What a disappointment. The first two are fairly decent quality, but the next four are faded and blurry and hard to watch. They look like 40 year old reruns. I have been able to find digital dvd's and they are SO MUCH better. A joy to watch. However I don't see any information on whether a disc is just a copy of an old video or a digital one. Wilderness is a good company and the public television ones are usually very good."
Great content, but poor picture quality.

The content is great, filled with information, history and wildlife. I appreciate the time and detail spent on each subject. However, I consciously had to use my imagination to grasp the beauty of these wonderful places because of the "grayish" picture quality. It was quite distracting."
Just Sad

"This is painful to watch. I am 51 years old and the footage on these DVD's remind me exactly of the old filmstrips we used to watch in elementary school. My jaw dropped as I began to watch the first DVD. I replaced it with another in hopes that it would get better. It didn't. I can go on and on but I will just waste your time as you read. The bottom line here is to spend your entertainment dollars on a different source of information. This DVD collection is certain to frustrate you. I will definitely throw this set away - giving it to someone else would be wrong. It is just sad."
