Member Movie Reviews Gloria B. (glowbird) from SPOKANE, WA Reviewed on 12/4/2023... This is a new documentary film from Ken Burns told in two parts. Blood Memory is part one (116 mins); part two is Into The Storm (119 mins.) It includes interviews and beautiful cinematography. You get a good introduction to the history of the bison in this country that evolved alongside the Native Americans. The stories of Native people anchor the series, including the Kiowa, Comanche, and Cheyenne of the Southern Plains; the Lakota, Salish, Kootenai, Mandan-Hidatsa, and Blackfeet from the Northern Plains; and others.
