Movie Reviews

A Beautiful Film
J. Combs | USA | 03/04/2008
(5 out of 5 stars)

"I saw "The Alps" at the IMAX theater at the Cincinnati Museum Center back in the fall, and I was very impressed with the film and the overall experience of seeing it in the IMAX format. The photography is beautiful, the setting is quite breathtaking, the music is excellent, and the story is involving, moving and ultimately very inspiring. "The Alps" contrasts the grandeur and majesty of nature with a meditation on the relationships between parents and their children, and does both very well. The film certainly made an impression on me."
One of the best IMAX films I've seen
C. Rogers | Los Angeles, CA | 12/04/2007
(5 out of 5 stars)

"This film is stunning. Very possibly the best IMAX documentary I've seen (and that's saying something considering I work for IMAX!) The aerial photography is insane. How they got some of the shots in this film is beyond me. WELL worth seeing...especially in HD!"
