"Right off the bat, this is a teenage jiggle movie. It's supposed to be seen through an 18 year old female's eyes who is very anxious to lose her virginity so that she can be with her dream boy who will not go with virgins. Maybe the viewpoint is female, the director Tamara Olson is female.



The jiggle portion of the film is just OK. It's mostly backed with some very gross scene, somebody vomiting, shaving and getting hair everywhere, vomiting, and well, vomiting. So the effect is not exactly senuous.



This is a fairly low budget film. There are much better films shot with much lower budgets. The really bad production and awful jump cut editing in smooth action is all unforgiveable at any budget. The film just seems to move from one montage to the next with virtually no point. Editing is a pure 100% mess. And the characters are not exactly loveable.



Rated R, for, nudity. Yes there is full frontal, male and female. The language isn't terrible. There's no violence. Any humor is equally degrading to females and males, nobody is singled out here. Teenagers look stupid.



The DVD includes an interesting bit of bonus features. In fact, those might be a bit better than the movie (blessedly shorter). The blooper reel is actually not bad, there's some good play between the two female leads. The other featurette is creatively cut together "interviews" with each actor and actress telling at what age they lost their virginity, and then in a second piece how they lost it. It's kind of fun to watch before the movie.



Overall, a really badly made film. The jiggle is OK. Both males and females will be equally offended by the jokes. A twisted teenage coming of age film."

THIS is a very funny movie, Really captures all that teen angst about getting sexed stuff.

Katie wants to lose her virginity at a senior party and has numerous misadventures in trying.

Very well written and acted, For what it be.

Although cast is unknowns and with a challenging budget, Think they pulled off what well known and heavily financed features fail at.

Lots of crude jokes and ample nudity, Congrats to all bringing back the Old Asylum !

"18 Year Old Virgin, while a low low budget throw away straight to Dvd movie, pleasantly surprised me. The main girl's quest for a bizarre loss of her virginity as a condition pursuant to beginning a more meaningful relationship with a specific proud, decent ( and later we learn Gay) gentleman proves to be outlandish, funny and raunchy to say the least. While some of the sex jokes are degrading though still no more than R rated, the movie's softcare feel is actually engaging in bringing out the film's vibrant if not occasionally warped humor. This is a movie I consider a good recommend. I am giving it 8 1/2 out of 10 stars!"
