Vicki had to say...
I have enjoyed my Swap experience with its members, however i am seeing 3 non-user-friendly issues with the system, described below:

First tho, my (recycling) tip for swapping is to reuse bubble wrap and cushioned envelops such as Amazon packaging when mailing your dvds. Bubble wrap also can be cut into squares for use inside the case to secure the dvds, which is Swap protocol.
Now the 3 issues:

1) A drop box for selecting pages in members' towers who have hundreds or even thousands of titles listed is direly needed.

2) Watch how you mark any Wish List dvd's. Often there are multiple listings for the same title. Swap says they have to list in this manner per their contract with Amazon. Different UPCs cause multiple listings based on wide/full, blue ray/dvd/ ultraviolet, release dates, etc. For example, Dispicable Me shows a bunch of listings for this Same title, many of these show lots of folks "wishing" for the dvd + zero copies. The members can get this movie but only if they click on all the different listings.

3) Dyk "the Swap database belongs to Amazon" !!! And that Amazon has restricted some UPCs from being "postable" to basically block us from swapping (since they'd rather us buy some titles thru them). So when you add or search for an official UPC which shows as Not Found, Amazon is the glitche. You can ask Swap staff to post it but sometimes they are not allowed by Amazon! Grrrrr.
