"Too bad I have to give this movie 1 star. It's not even worth this one. It's unbelievable that trash like this is burned on a DVD. If you have the intention buying it, think about it twice. A very thin story, if I may call this a story at all, is built around some "erotic"( ridiculous) scenes, which made me use the fast forward button most of the time. Believe me, this is a waste of money."

""Curious"

I wondered what had happened to "Curious", the soft-core Australian film directed by Jamie Hendrix. It kind of disappeared from sight but it is back again with a new edit which makes it a much better film. It is still not a great film but it is much better than it was.
"Curious" is the story of Ryan who is about to be married to Beth but their relationship is far from perfect. One evening they have a nasty fight and Ryan leaves the apartment in s bit of a haze and wanders into a gay bar. When he sees the stripper performing, he begins to fantasize about him and the two men begin to take off their clothes together and begin to make out on the stage of the club dressed only in their underwear. They dance into a sexual frenzy as the audience of well built men looks on.
When the stripper takes a break, he meanders over to Ryan's table and snaps him out of his fantasy and the two men engage in a conversation. When Ryan confesses that this is his first time in a gay bar, the stripper takes him upstairs to the sex club, "The Bull Pen" and they see a lot of sexual activity going on.
Ryan returns downstairs and ventures into the men's room where there is also action going on. Another dancer walks up to the urinal next to him and both men shed their pants and begin to sniff poppers which leave Ryan in a fog. The first stripper comes in and revives Ryan with a pill. When Ryan finally goes home, he realizes that Beth is not the girl for him and that he is, in reality, gay.
The new edit shows us some beautiful men with fantastic bodies and the movie is so much better than the original. If you are looking for some fluff and something that is not too serious, this is a film for you. The eye candy alone makes it worthwhile.
